Face it folks. The more the main stream gets into porno, the less people will be into putting up money for a paysite. Pretty soon HBO will will have its own BANG BUS...lol

Think about it. Porno did so well on the net in the beginning b/c it was so easy to access the content in private when in the past it was so hard to get your hands on this type of stuff.

We should all boycot Porn getting into MainStream culture?
That is what we dont want.

Your thoughts?

They had a great piece on VH1 tonight talking how Gay has become totally mainstream now in so many ways.

there's porn on alot of countries' mainstream channels... yet , they still join xxx sites... :2 cents:

I think porn is as mainstream as it's going to get. Most jokes on comedies contain sexual innuendo, there is SexTV, there are bikini and swimsuit contests, howard stern, and of coarse the Pay Channels.

Mainstream culture is already on Sex overload.

Porn will always be there but it will always be on a pay channel because nobody wants there children to see gangbangs while searching channels for Barney.

I don't think it's something to worry about. On the contrary, the more mainstream it becomes, I think the better it is for our industry. (More people will be willing to support us and see us as something other than smut peddlers, but ordinary business people).

Mike,

I agree. The more mainstream the more support.

I think that article more or less just shows how porn is more socially acceptable, not exactly that its going mainstream. Having a film made about a porn star isnt exactly like a major hollywood studio releasing porn. So you wont see bangbus HBO style anytime soon, although talking about it or a documentary style show about it now would be acceptable and could happen. So its only better for the porn industry, since it wont seem as taboo anymore.
