CafePress Rocks! $1000 in 4 days

I started a cafepress site for flyntforgovernor.org, at http://www.cafepress.com/governorflynt .. Made $4k of sales, my commissions being $1k.. not bad for sitting around drinking guinness.

Ha ! That's pretty cool. How are you feeding it ?

Cashing in on someone elses big name...lawyers bills might cost you a bit more than $1k. Just my :2 cents:

cafepress is a good idea, but their shirts are low-quality iron-on overpriced BULLSHIT...

If you just did them yourself from home or a local screen-printing shop, the quality would be better and you'd be taking home $3000 out of that $4000.

:2 cents:

Yeah, that what I was afraid of.. I haven't actually seen the products yet..

My roommates have a 3 arm print screen setup right now.. I'm thinking of making tshirts and trying from there..

The main nice thing about cafepress is it gives you the ability to start up with no funding, generate some revenue, then go quality later on if the concept is successful.

Ahh, but I'm not cashing in on somebody else's name. I'm specifically advertising my campaign information site, flyntforgovernor.org .. And larry doesn't seem to have a problem with it, he linked to my site this weekend on larryflynt.com.

I'm pretty sure cafepress makes one fucking shirt at a time. Other than an iron on, how to you think they should do it? Make a silk screen for one damn shirt?

I have one of their shirts, it is pretty old but it was definitely a quality shirt and the transfer wasn't like something I could do with my inkjet.

Give them a break, they had a good idea and provide a good service :)

Cafe Press sucks ass
we stared a store - ordered some stuff for ourself - which arrived fast
then when other ppl started ordering - they neer sent the gear
they told us the packages had been sent back which was bullshit because 9 out of 9 people would NOT have returned the packages saying they didnt live there WTF?!
then they wouldnt refund our money that we paid for those items to send to people
so we lost our money - and people never got their shirts

:feels-hot
