Problem with audio in VDub
Ok.... This is the deal: i've been trying to chop some movies with VDub and the audio keeps coming out all fucked up....
This is what happens: When I open the movie in VDub I get this error: "VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standart CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 2910 ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unaccetable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate enconder. (bitrate: 131.0 +- 16.7 kbps)" I've tryed doing this: open virtual dub, file>open video file>save .wav audio>full processing>.wav audio, select the .wav file you extracted compression> MPEG Layer-3 16kbits / mono video>full processing>compression> DivX MPEG4 Low-Motion file>save avi. But the audio in the clip is all fucked up.... Do you guys have any idea of what should I do??? |
Yeah I use that exact method when dealing with DP content and it works each time. Not sure what your problem is.

It doesn't mather if I do that or not (extract the wav file), the sound in the clip is always fucked up (comes before the action in the clip).....
Does anybody else have some thoughts of what should I do?? |
