Are you allowed to alter content once purchased?
I am working on a project, and I would need to alter the thumbnails just a bit (but, not the actual image once it is clicked on).
Can anybody tell me if this is against typical license agreements? |
That shouldn't be a problem as long as the image is not touched
|
Not ussually against most licenses.

Maybe I should rephrase this:
I DO need to alter the image...but once it is clicked on, the image will be seen in its original format. I wasn't referring to simply resizing or adding a border to the thumbnail. |

I would need to change opacity, maybe lose the color, and possibly extract the actual figure and place on a different background. |
Generally your ok then, double check the license, but overall your prolly safe.

Thanks a lot for your help :thumbsup

Why wouldnt it be okay? Basically, you are making different thumbnails for the pictures?
With my photographer (about to start doing custom and exclusive bbw stuff) we are giving out the high quality images. Most people do make their own thumbnails (cropping, etc) But, I have seen a few liscenes that say you cant touch the pictures. but, still, its only the thumbnails, right? |
Why not ask the guy who supplied the pictures or is about to supply the picures.
Here you get opinions, with him you get facts. |
I usually allow alot of leeway so the webmasters can do what they need to make money as I have the originals anyway
|
I do not know where you bought the stuff, but if it was at our shop you are allowed to do so, of course. Anyhow, I guess nobody will realy care about the thumbs
|
we will let you , we are pretty easy to work with , just hit us up if we can help you out any thanks jim

Why are you asking us? Read your fucking license, provided you have one.
