Targeted traffic, and how to get it?
I have been struggling this summer in the 20 range per day with new signups. Last summer I was closer to 30 per day.
I just KNOW that I'm missing the boat with target traffic. Right now I get 90%+ of my hits from toplists. How do you go after "Targeted" traffic? How can I get traffic to my site, that I know is interested in watching me devour cum? Thanks for any input guys! Lorsha |

For small amounts of extremely targetted traffic, try the PPC search engines like www.7search.com www.kanoodle.com and the like. Bid low, be VERY targetted, and it will convert.

Just signed up at 7.com Zoink. Thanks for the tip!
Never did anything like this before; will be curious to see how it works out. Lorsha |

BTW, you can't bid low at Kanoodle, the lowest bid is 5 cents per click. |

before you start, spend some time thinking about what you want to accomplish with your SE pay-per-click campaign. think what keyword terms surfers might use if they were inclined to spend some money on your product. i didn't spend enough time planning for my first campaign and got spanked really bad. don't let this happen to you :) take it easy, eatapeach |

How about this crazy ideea : Make a site with 70 + categories/links ( each link to a diffrent niche html page - hardcore , panty etc. etc..) sign up for many good sponsors so you can have enough links to use on each page..Use your content or the content from sponsors for each niche , make some nice meta tags and keywords, then send as much traffic as you can to this site..( from toplists , tgp galleries, pic posts , link lists etc. etc..) and also use an exit console on each page ( dont forget to taged it for the niche on the page u'll use it.After that do your best to get good PR on the site. You will see that it works and the traffic is targeted. You should be getting some nice sales as soon as the site will be indexed by the search engines.Once everything is done , move on to the next site :Graucho
just my :2 cents: |
I do almost all of my stuff via PPC. If you were just starting out I would recommend findwhat and Kanoodle. Overture will be steep for you to start out with. The traffic is great but the investment can be quite high. All of the good PPC traffic can be found in these engines, Overture, Findwhat, Google, and Kanoodle. Every other PPC under these has a lot of shaky stuff. Both Kanoodle and findwaht have a 0.05 minimum Findwhat's will be active on 9/1/2003. Its is a great resource for targeted traffic. So chosing any of these will be a good road for you. it just depends on how much you want to invest.

Hi Lorsha,
I think if you put some more work into your affiliate program it would pay off. Have you given any thought to giving your webmasters a little of your content every week with which to build galleries, etc? In the long run, this may be more cost-effective and time-effective than trying to play the PPC game. It lets you keep doing what you know how to do well, ie, building your member site and making unique content, and lets people who know how to generate traffic from various sources do that for you. I have a few more ideas, and if you'd like to chat about it a bit feel to ICQ me at 117764795. |
Why not try pay per click search engine traffic? The quality in my opinion is the best, if you need some help or advise give me a shout

Johny Traffic,
please post a link to your PPC SE, where I could look at the current bids & listings for some particular search terms etc... |
