Financial prospect for a swinging / sexdate site?
 

Hi there all and the royal GFY salute!

I'm a new poster here, after being in a closely related business
for some time: sexdating / swinging clubs.

my question is this: I'm trying to get a rough estimate of the
earnings prospect of a site that will direct surfers to sexdating
sites and swingers sites. I am not interested in dealing with
content or setting up a paysite, and am planning on earning
only thorugh affiliate programs that pay for signups of surfers
I direct to them. I will generate traffic to my site mainly through
extensive SEO and presence on swinger's sites.

Is this model enough (assuming full-time work on it) to generate
decent earnings, or is paysite/content hosting a must?

Well, the short answer to your question of can it generate decent earnings is yes. Depending of course on how you define 'decent'

Yes, I have done well in the past with dating sites, but always as an adition to anything else Ive been doing, never gone at it full time

Well, I'm talking merely a couple of K's a month, considering that
I'm only counting on payments from APs ...

If you have the first idea of how to go about it, and use the right sponsors (such as the one in my sig - big hint) then you should be able to make that without really trying

Just to give you some idea of what's possible, the top earner with IWantU (not me unfortunately) made $5,418 last month, and there are other programs around that make that look like a drop in the ocean.

and would you say that SEO focusing will get better
results than just buying traffic / advertizing in websites
of that genre?

Search Engine Optimization - getting traffic by improving your rank on search engines to "collect" surfers searching for your field of interest

Definitely - but personal/dating type keywords are very competitive.
