A client of mine whats me to do this!
 

I figure one of you fuckers do this. I have a client (my consulting biz) and they want me to go through their website to find any email address and remove it. Any of you use a program that does this? I just need it to tell me what page it is on. And I really don't want to write an app to do this if there is a program I can buy to do this for me.

Just find a search and replace program that allows wild cards.

Hell frontpage will do that, just have it do a find on the domain folder.

Im sure a hell of alot of other programs do it too.

Shell access? grep for '@' in * and you'll get your answer....

Look up BK Replace Em in google.
It is free, and oh so good. :)

The only thing is they want a report of what pages have the emails on them. They're clients were getting spammed and they are blaming it on this client of mine.

How big is the site? Do it by hand and charge 'em for it. If you can't, and they want to know each page with an e-mail, that just might take a custom script. :2 cents:
I don't know of any program that will search and entire site for *@* and report which pages they are on.
But I am sure someone here does!
