The Online Adult Industry is'nt a fucking business

It's a backwards clusterfuck.

There are no rules.

There is no unity.

There is no self-regulation.

There are no guidelines.

There is no definitive layer of correct conduct.

This is akin to the west.

How long till the government steps in to regulate it because we don't have the unity and maturity to regulate ourselves?

Rictor 08-16-2003 09:20 PM

What regulations do you think we need? The only things that should be illegal already are illegal. CP, CC theft, content theft, real violence.

Welcome to the Future -> The Internet Pimp

KRL 08-16-2003 09:24 PM

You've described the entire Internet, not just the adult sector. And that is the way it was designed to be. Where even the smallest business could be on the playing fields with the biggest businesses.

And its working.

BRISK 08-16-2003 09:27 PM

*sigh*

Except for unity (competitors do not normally unite)...there is all of the above depending upon the individual that is running the business.

The Internet was designed by the government for academic purposes, not for commercial profit.

Nobody realized this would be big for non-tech business until the end of 94.

I agree.. I had my retail store in Sacto for 5 years and over a year where I am now.. Both times , I had guys scope the store and open one down the street.

Got old and no challenge to it after I opened it the 2nd time.....

I love this internet biz because it is so vast and challenging!
