If a BUSINESS accquaintance..

steps over the business line of ethics do you move forward in business with them or would you separate ties with them?

They tried some shady shit and broke your trust......

What would you do?

Doesn't that answer your question? How big a knucklehead would you have to be to enter into a business deal with someone you don't trust?

Trust is probably the most important thing in a business relationship. Building block.

Was your deal in writing or was it a everyone agrees and guesses what is allowed? Very vague details.

Nothing was in writing which I am glad for because it has given me the time to check this person out.

That also could of been the roots of the problem, maybe miss understanding ect. We do not have details and shady means little without it.

Building trust just isn't enough. I've seen people bust their asses only to get fucked over by people they have trusted for years.

Partners are great, but business is business. Get shit in writing.
