Okie is so 1999....

I've played out with him as well as worked in a studio with him, he was much better before he got mainstream.

I loved the WMC in miami where his records where melting on the turntables as he was playing them...fucking morons I told them to block the sun from the stage..mwahahahaha

Now PVD is someone who fame never changed. Same WMC Van Dyke was playing on a mpc2kxl and an akai16 sampler had this 15 minute mix of "do you think im sexy" running with beats over it..was totaly clasic..

I like all kinds of Techno artists, including (my favourites) Nick Warren, Tiga, Kenny Glasgow, Max Graham, Ritchie Hawtin, Tiesto etc. etc. -
What is wrong with Oakenfold? Did you ever hear him in a club?

Nothing wrong with his older stuff, but to most we feel he's strayed far from the path and become very mainstream...

Heard a lot of good stuff about PVD - but never heard him live.
His CDs don't impress me, but hearing a DJ live is a whole different story. Should check him out.

Kinda got into the speed garage and deep house thing for a while so been re-finding some amazing older stuff...

yeah actually ive seen him twice. both times his music made me want to start clapping my hands and skipping around. but that was his older style stuff. his new stuff just plain sucks...

Did he really get that bad? I heard him last year in July, and he was quite good. Got quite deep.

Am I going to be disappointed?
