MaxCash - any opinions?
 

have been looking over MaxCash, was wondering if anyone has any intelligent comments to make about the program.

Do they have anyone that posts here?

I used to send them a fair amount of joins per period, back when it was RJB Telecom, then that whole FTC mess happened. Stayed away from them after that, but they were rock solid up until that point.

I've been pushing them quite a bit the past month or so and have been dissapointed with the ratios. They have a few sites that do ok but most of their sites are weak looking and convert accordingly. Add that to the fact that they seem to have some problems getting checks out on time. I will never put up another MAXCASH link again ever.

Of course you will have people that will say that they are the best thing since ice cubes but IMHO they suck.

Best bet is give them a try and see how they work with your traffic

Not sure if it's the same now, but they were notorious for their popups that linked to sponsors that the affiliate got no credit for..

yep ... I remember when maxcash aka RJB Telecom used to convert pretty well ... even I thought it was overpromoted .. but now maxcash is not beeing pushed that hard by webmasters and seems they do not convert that great anymore .. and yes the design of their sites could use some rebuilding

They were one of the very big boys... untill the FTC or FCC or some other US government organization took them over for around 6 months. Promoting a dialer as free is aparently a big no-no. I probably have only sent 100 or so hits over the years and gotten 1 sale.

I've been promoting them lightly since the dinosaur age, and still get a few signups every month from existing links. I'll say this for them, they fucking pay, on time like clockwork, always have. One of my surfers even THINKS about joining a Maxcash site and the check is in the mail.


I won't comment on conversions or their sites, I'm sure that kind of improvement is needed in many programs.

But they're solid in a few ways that really count, and one of them is in getting paid, which is one of the biggest questions on webmasters minds when considering a new sponsor.

Maxcash is still huge, convert great and have killer sites. Take a look at all the big boys exit consoles and you'll notice everyone is still pushing them heavily. They haven't gone anywhere and are just as strong as ever. And in the 5 years I've pushed them I've never had any payment problems (only during the FTC ordeal which has been cleared up for years nows). They have always been rock solid for me.

It all does depends on your traffic though. Everyone that I know with quality (non tgp) traffic has always converted MC well. I don't know about TGP traffic though.......

Ultimately all you can do is give them a test and see what happens.

Oh and Headless is actually a cool guy. This is GFY after all so he just comes here to mess around. If you go listen to his radio show you'll notice he's actually full of kiler info and is always ready to help people out.

Maxcash have been around for a while now... Older sites and banners...

We dont see or hear much of them anymore...

But trow anything at Kara's and you will convert allmost any trafic with it.... Works real well with anything

Maxcash are good people - I don't send much traffic there way anymore, but they are a great team & have excellent webmaster support :2 cents:

I get a sale here and there from them and I dont send any traffic any more to them on purpose....

Its nice when you do 1:1 with no effort from se traffic..

I don't think we are sending them any traffic right now, but I think they just started sending some traffic to us.

Think Maxcash is the biggest ... if not one of the biggest.

They must be doing something right to be doing $40 million a period or so. Most of the big guys in the biz send a lot of traffic there and do quite well.

Not sure I would want to use their sites with tgp/freesite/cj and other shit traffic types though.

Conversions alittle weak.

I've done business with them for a million years. They're a solid company and having been through all that BS they are someone who is doing things right.

As with any sponsor though you just test and try and test more, etc... The internet is a weird creature. You never know what will work best until you try. The things you think for sure would kickass sometimes don't and vice versa.

There is only one way to answer this question.

Send *your* traffic to them with *your* selling methods and see if they convert for *you*.
Other folks' experiences won't matter, as they don't build exactly the same way you do, use exactly the same sales text that you do, etc etc. All of that affects conversions.

They have some very sweet looking new tours, but they kinda don't promote those links.

I suspect they have their reasons.... I mean if a surfer will sign up on a shitty looking old avs-type tour, he's not likely to chargeback and will probably recur well.
