Going to a hotel that doesn't have safe boxes, what should I do?
 

Stick my money inside my dirty undearwear or something?

I'm travelling out of state and if someone from the hotel stole my money or cards I'd be completely fucked. And I dont want to carry it on me all day since I don't really know the area.

Oh and carry your license or whatever in a front pants pocket or somewhere you can get it out (Even if you have to grope abit) Thats why God made shirt tails. ;-)

ask to put your stuff in the hotels safe, if you havnt got one in the room then the hotel should offer this

Bring it to the front desk, they should have a safe.

I use to travel with a gun, forgot and left it under my pillow one day, when I got back my bed wasn't made up and the little red light was flashing on the phone.:1orglaugh

I usually put my money in my bag dirty clothes then put in it my suit case. :thumbsup

Just tip the housekeeping, and most likely they'll steal from someone who doesn't.

I wonder how much crazy shit cleaning ladies see all the time cleaning people's rooms? Weapons, drugs, sex toys, used condoms, every so often I'm sure they must come across all sorts of different stuff.

See, there's a reason why I don't do that.. it's so easy to forget one of the cards (ie: your photo ID). Best to just get one of those PhotoCCs from Citibank, Chase or Bank of America (does any other company do that with the credit cards now?).

It'll be hard for someone with long curly hair and a large scar on his face to use your CC if it's got your face on the front. :1orglaugh
