what's the longest time..
 

it's ever taken you to get a wire transfer? my bank says if it's sent by 3pm pacific that day, it gets to the account the same day. i'm still waiting for one from tuesday...

6 days, i wish people use paypal :)

how come i get 3 different answers from people on wires? the bank says same day, or at least next day, you say 6 days, someone else told me 2-3 days. argh.

We send and recieve wires all the time. US origin with a US bank, probably so. Remember, just because it's sent by 3:00 doesn't mean your bank will post it that day.

My bank, the cutoff is 2:00. Also, time zones would play a roll here. If it was sent by 3:00 Pacific, it would be too late Eastern to post.

Foreign wires can take from 3 days to a week or more.

CST, i think. up north, but US. i guess i'll give it until tuesday morning, if it doesn't post by then, i'm probably not getting it then :(

it was sent apparently by 2:45p CST, so it *should* have shown up that day or next morning, according to my bank...

usually international wires take 2-3 business days.
however i once got a wire which took 9! business days.

i asked the bank why it took so long but they didnt know either.

so if you are sure that the wire was really sent and the wire details were correct, you just have to be patient :)

i've checked the info i sent to the wirer several times out of paranioa, and it's correct. the only thing, is i sent him my regular name, which is a shortened version of my legal name (which is the one on my account). however, i talked to my bank and they said this doesn't make a difference, and i haven't heard from the wirer that it bounced..

I would be thinking right now that the wire has not been sent.

I get people all the time "gonna send a wire" or "did send a wire", usually wanting traffic turned on while I wait.

I hope you did not deliver product or something.

yeah, product delivered, and i've been waiting over a month for 2 checks that were supposedly sent, 1 via certified mail, and now the wire transfer.

That sucks. Anyone we know?

I've been getting international wire transfers every week for at least 3 years. I usually get them in less than 24 hours from when it was sent.

Sometimes the people sending them fuck up some info (probably by typing in a wrong number or something like that) and it gets rejected and they have to resend it.

it's someone on here. but, i'm not going to drag their name through the mud yet at least. first of all, i don't really like the idea of doing that, and second of all, i'm still hoping to get paid. it would be really nice to have that cash right now.

Longest I have waited was 2 weeks. On average it shouldn't take more then 2-3 business days
