On the 11th of September every year, we just black out America for 24 hours.

It seems to really bring people together and tear them away from seclusion.

Plus, it'll make everyone a little more humble.

Not cool :( 911 was an event that should always be respected and remembered as one of the worst disasters ever and not compared to a black out .

I must admit, i spent 3 hours at the park with my daughter, walked around the block looking for a place to eat at, went for car ride with friends to quebec side to get some food at a resturant and most important I went to bed early and got sleep.

but my laptop was my source of light, fuck candles.

not make it another misunderstood holiday

fuck that we just sweated out 24 hrs in that blackout in ny, it was not fun.

I was'nt comparing or degrading anything.

What pissed me off was that up to 3 weeks after 9/11 was that everyone went back to their pitiful, greedy selves.

It seemed great or the first 3 weeks or so when everyone was in shock and really nice to each other. There was a sense of unity that was just too good to be true.

I thought that since it's so close, and it seemed to do good for NY and surrounding areas, why not utilize it as an opportunity to revert back to that selflessness, that unity that we breifly saw around September of 2001.
