Escape.com Hosting

anyone else use them? They've been down for like 2 days now and i haven't heard a peep out of them...far longer than they've ever been down before. Wonder if they are down for good and i should be making other arrangements. they've been around since 1987 though. hehe.

If you are down we would be happy to move your sites over so you don't lose any business.

They're probably down because of the blackout.. That should tell you something. Any hosting center that isn't in a datacenter with huge UPS batteries and diesel generators isn't a good hosting provider..

Escape.com is an OLD company though.. for a long time, they were a rather strong hacker's target, because their owner, Roman Kazan, made the mistake of being "involved" with the community, and subsequently made enemies.

That was years ago, I'm sure by now they're a straignt and narrow act .. Back in the day though, they were known as the easiest site to root next to bell.com
