What is the worst (physical) pain you have ever felt?
 

Me = extensive migraine, feels like a fucking psychic brain assault

I have to say toothache.

Taking a tattoo didn't feel pleasant either, but since it's 'voluntary' it didn't feel that bad. I HATE HATE HATE toothache.

Lower Back Pain!!! Hurts to move any muscle in your body!

Ok, this is gross, but hey. You asked.

Involuntary Esophogeal spasm. My esophogus spasmed and was pulling my stomach into my chest. I thought I was going to die. It kinda felt like my guts were exploding from the inside.

Childbirth closely followed by tattooing. Different kinds of pain, both very very unpleasant. Both have their upsides though.:)

I've had broken bones, open heart surgery, tatoo's but by far the worst pain i've had was a boil that I had on my butt. Without anastheatic the nurse had to cut it open and then scrape out all the puss with a scraper.:(

Idiopathic Pancreatitis when I was 10. I've had car wrecks, severed tendons, broken bones, etc since that but the pain from that incident sticks in my head like it was yesterday.

On Morphine for a few weeks.......don't remember much.:mad:

I had to once get Root Canal and the nerve was so buried in the tooth that I had about 6 hits of novacane.

well, the cane was wearing off, the dentist places his leg on teh chair to brace himself and YANKED the root out

I literally saw deep purple, blue and black shapes / stars / circles when he yanked it out. it was the most intense pain I have had flat out.

Hurts to think about it, lol......and it was 5 years ago

A kidney Infection. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and could only lie on my left side the whole time because of the pain. My kidney was back washing into my system. I was literally being poisoned to death. It has happened twice in my life, once when I was 6 and once when I was 17. The doctors have no idea why.
IT WAS HORRIABLE. :(

When I was ten I was playing basketball and got kicked in the mouth, almost bit off my tongue. That hurt a lot. :(

Fell off my bike onto a buncha gravel on the street (neighborhood was under construction) the day before 6th grade started.

Landed on my left knee, drove some of that gravel straight in at my kneecap and tore off a huge hunk of skin (i still have purple nerveless skin there) Needless to say, the kneecap was hurtin like a motherfucker. No permanent knee problems though :winkwink:


IMHO everyone should get some kinda gash that requires at least 5 stitches within their lifetime, ive had several. :thumbsup

My boy had that from birth - He had an operation when he was 6 months old and all seems well now.

Snapped my achilles tendon in my left leg runing the 3rd leg of the 4 x 100 in HS. Inside lane, stepped wrong, foot rolled over the track edge, spikes got caught in the webbing under the grass, tendon snapped and rolled up inside my leg almost all the way to the back of my knee.

It's kinda funny to see the top of your foot be able to touch your shin when fall down after trying to get up and "walk it off"...ouch.

When I was 12 I climbed up this wood box that was about 25 feet high and jumped down. Before I hit the ground I stopped. I was very confused on why my feet were not touching the ground. I looked up saw that a nail was stuck in my arm suspending me in mid air. I had to kick my legs to get enough momentum to unhook myself. It took two tries. I hit the ground running!

I impaled myself playing hockey... I was cruising along the boards and was going to dig the puck out and my stick got stuck in a crack between the boards and I ran full steam right into it.

Ripped a hole through my belly... I was pretty tore up, the worst part was the "punched in the gut" out of breathness as I pulled the hockey stick out of me... that was fucking awful

when it hurts really bad you don't feel it for long.. i broke my arm and my bone was sticking out and shit.. i got up to walk back to my house and i just passed out on the street and woke up in a hospital

However, the sharpest pain has to be a urinary tract infection. I am sure a few women are with me on this one.

The hockey stick story was pretty intense! But waking up on the operating table!! That's some Wes Craven Stephen King shit right there!:eek2

Motorcycle accident at 45 MPH, over 4 feet of road rash on my arms, hands, legs and stomach, but fortunately no broken bones.

Cleaning out the pavement out of those wounds fucking hurt like hell once the adrenaline wore off.

Some of my friends started calling me SCAR after that nasty spill....but fortunately most of the scars have faded by now so the nickname faded away also.

I have had the "usual" experiences of road accidents, toothache, etc., but nothing comes even close to a bad angina attack.

There's no description to do the pain justice: the best I can manage is that it's like having your whole chest held tightly in a vice. It almost paralyzes you because the very slightest movement has an effect like someone spinning the bar on the vice to tighten it more.

Fortunately nitro-gylcerin spray works like a miracle and a few minutes after you have put some under your tongue you are just left with a bad headache.

one time I was eating an extrememly spicy chicken wing (we're talking native thai level spice) and I took a bite and a piece of the skin somehow flipped up and lodged under my eyelid..I'm surprised it didn't permenantly blind me...

One time I was making up a batch of habenero hot sauce (slicing up raw habeneros) and I wasn't wearing my surgical gloves and and didn't wash my hands good enough and went to take a piss...my dick itched a bit, so I scratched..and I swear my pisshole almost closed up, it burned so bad I was crying like a bitch with a skinned knee...nothing more pathetic than a man standing at a piss stall with tears streaming down his face begging to some unseen deity for a quick death

I won't even get into the time I was dressed as a party clown and got hit in the nuts by a kid in a blindfold aiming for a pinata.....

Broke my wrist bones and one was even sticking out. From a sledding accident where I hit a tree as a kid.

Its hard to describe what a broken bone feels like but its about intense as you can get, except for burns probably.
