"The council's three-member Public Safety Committee unanimously approved a draft ordinance June 9 that bans any touching, including tucking cash in G-strings, -- and mandates a 6-foot separation zone between dancers and patrons.

Additional regulations say dancers must perform on a stage at least 18 inches high and has rails at least 30 inches high. Direct tipping would be prohibited, as would the distribution of "sexually oriented merchandise."
