we have many sites and these 2 have to be the ugliest sites we have and they convert in the top 10 and do real well
I still can't figure it out so I havn't updated them yet. LOL

not talking about content and 'ugle designs' im talking about the

we were the first to do it andits been working out great.

we alwways focus on the deal to get them to join

The pages needs to load fast and most surfers have already been bumped around from site to site so we try to get them in right away. one page and then they join.

It's because the sponsors don't shave on the ugly sites, because the better-looking sites convert more! :1orglaugh

We run into the same dilemma! We'll have a new design built for a site and it just doesn't convert nearly as well as the old design. As much as we experiment with new ideas, some of those sites just have to stay as they are for now. It's quite anomalous really.

There is no ONE porn surfer. Some like tours we think are crappy. Some tours we think are killer don't convert. Some surfers like the one page tour. Others want to see a long tour, to those it seems like there must be more in there.

There is no one formula that works for all because there is not just one type of surfer. If you think there is, you're only fooling yourself.
