Anna Kournikova to be ambassador for "sex industry" resort
 

Anna Kournikova has agreed to become a tourism ambassador for a Thai resort known for its sex industry.

The tennis player will visit Pattaya between November 6 and 9 to play an exhibition match.

Pattaya was known for its beaches but in recent years has developed a seedy reputation for its sex industry.

Kournikova will also appear in "Unseen in Thailand" - a promotional video on lesser known places of interest in and around the city.

The match against Tamarine will be held on November 9 after the women's singles final of the WTA Volvo Women's Open at the Dusit Resort Hotel court in Pattaya.
