i've got one... not perfect, but it does what i need it to, and *very* cheaply... you get fairly fast web browsing (all is shunted through Dangers own proxy servers) and the email is killer w/ a good keyboard in my pocket at all times, no roaming charges here in the states. i'm not displeased w/ it by any means, especially w/ the cheap hardware price and "all you can eat" data plan from t-mobile...
...now, don't get me comparing this to the magick technologies that 'Docomo' offers me in my homeland, but the Sidekick is a nice option for anyone nailed to the web like myself, and most other GFY people i'm sure.. |

I have had one for a few months. The signal strength isnt the greatest, but it is super convenient. It has worked at all the shows I went to and with no roaming charges. Montreal cybernet, vegas, phoenix, miami and here in NJ. I have the B&W one, havent upgraded to color yet. When my year is up I will see whatever else is out there. I only use it for data though, I have a verizon cellphone that I use for calls. but it is a great gadget if you travel and dont feel like lugging your laptop around with you.
