Anyone know anything about the origins of this underground video?

My buddy works at a metal recycling plant, and he found a whole bunch of copies. It's some twisted shit.

I can't seem to find anything on the internet about it.

FYI: It's got all the videos on it pre-Downward Spiral along with an eerie home video of a serial killer torturing some guy with all sorts of shit while playing NIN in the background.

It's really hard to tell if it's real or staged.

Don't know anything about it. That sounds pretty twisted though. Not sure if I want to know anything about it...hahaha.

I dunno, it's not Jim Rose's shit. It may be a staged snuff film, but it's not an hour long.

Also, I take it back, it's got Pretty Hate Machine videos & Broken videos and unedited Closer from the Downward Spiral.

The "snuff" film is a handheld going through a neighborhood, picking up some dude, taking him back to a basement, chaining him up to a chair and, well, I don't think you really want me to go into it.

There was a performance artist named Bob Flanagan (although I might be misspelling his name) who had a terminal illness and addressed his mortality with masochism. He was in some NIN vid stuff which people did get to see, but supposedly there was some stuff shot where his penis was being nailed into boards and such. If that is what is on this video, then it was consensual.

No, does not seem consensual at all. This was'nt Jim Rose's.

This guy with a mask on ties up another dude, pisses in his face, pours gas down his throat, hangs em from the ceiling and spins him on a razor blade.

Then he gets out a blowtorch and catharizes (sp?) the cuts.

He finishes it all by ripping the guy's heart out and eating it.

All shot with a shitty videocamera.

There's more, but I'm sure people don't want to hear it.

Hmm, yuck. Skinny Puppy used to have some kinda convincing snuff material they played on video screens during concerts. Went to see them exactly once. I'd be interested in what the origin of the gothindustrial snuffapalooza is, if you find anything out. Skinny Puppy claimed that they recorded theirs off of late night cable some place which may or may not have been Canada. They were not all that convincing.
