Best nightclubs in LA???
I'm flying in early for the Holio party, and need to know the best clubs to hit Thurs. and Friday nights. Thanks! Lori

Those are all great clubs. Also, if you get a chance stop by at the Standard in Downtown, its a great place to grab a drink, it sits on top of the hotel overlooking the Los Angeles downtown skyline.
The Standrad in downtown is considered by GQ Magazine the #1 trendiest hotel/bar in the world. |

True Jimbo it's my fav too not too crowded and always packed with celebs I have met David Schwimmer , Ben Stiller, the Talking Heads and the Strokes all there- Drinks are more like mortgages there but it's worth paying $15 a drink to look cool in Hell-AY I guess.... |

It will be under Timbo. They'll know where we are. KB, You are so right about Ron. He's a piece of furniture there. Many celebs have hung out over the years. Seeing the ones that blew my mind the most, definitely had to be Page and Plant. That was weird. Zep was one of the originals that made that place famous. |

Timbo- the biggest star I ever saw in the rainbow was Eddie Van Halen chillin' drinking Heineken's Well him and Joey Buttafuoco he goes there too much but I can tell you this much being from back home in OHIO- Jimmy Flynt Jr says it as well- THERE IS NO FINER FRIED CHICKEN than at the RAINBOW- it's the best! |

Man I am surprised I never ran into you in that place, you know it well. Joey B. pops in there from time to time. He was runnin the tickets upstairs there for a while. He has done some work for me a few times on some rides of mine. Simple shit, but he NEVER charged me. Hell of a nice guy. |

One time I was super drunk after a show at the Roxy, with a group of friends outside in the patio at the RR and had to go inside to use the restroom.
So I went in, and Paradise City by Guns n Roses was blaring. I approached the stairs to go up to the restroom and almost walked directly into a mini-Slash rocking, out throwing his head around as this song had just came on. He was slumped against the wall rocking out. It was really disturbing, because somehow I interrupted his little rock star fantasy moment. But years later I wonder if it was him? hehe |
