use some auto-fetchers, this is scripts which checks site every X minutes and if it not-available or changed, you may not send traffic to it :)

Curious though, I wonder if that's ever really happend to a program. I doubt that it has but reality is stranger than fiction right?

they reponded to me with this:

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. There was a DNS error over the weekend for www.cumfiesta.com. The problem has been fixed. You should either clear your DNS cache or wait till the new DNS propagates and the site will show up.
