should i let it build some more before i start harrassing them?

start harassing them now, if you leave it to long they wont remember they joined even, and will probably cancel straight away, hit them with a decent newsletter from the start with free stuff and sponsors

Mail them anyways. If you are new to mailing, better to learn from fuckups on a list of 55 instead of 55,000

Learn to tailor your ads and find what gets them to click, even if it is a very small sample.
