On the TV show thing - watch them. There's at least two series of shows floating around with guys doing nothing but playing mind games. You'll feel better educated for it. Even without the TV shows though, it really isn't difficult to see it's a scam if you go to any of the shows/meetings with just a little intelligence and the gulibility setting turned off.
