How much MBPS should I get for Hosted Video Galleries?

If you have any sort of webmaster base I'd get a dual cpu server just for the galleries and plug it into a 100mbps pipe.

Lots of sponsors have made the mistake of putting hosted galleries on the same server/connection as their other sites, and it hurt their biz until they got it straightened out.

Can anyone come close to $1000 a month for 10 to 20 mbps with server included?

You can get 10 mbps cheap...But it wil not be enough for hosted movie galleries. I can max that out with a single gallery submission. You will need 100 mbps for sure, or at the very least a burstable 10 mb connection.
