PROOF that air canada COMMITS fraud
ok, check this out. looking at flights for the webmaster summit in vancouver and I was comparing first class to economy for the flight. now this is the interesting part.
when using travelosity.com try these dates from winnipeg to vancouver oct 24-27 economy $495 (canadian funds) - not a bad price for a direct flight first class (with restrictions) $966 BUT THE FIRST CLASS SEAT COMES WITH A DISCLAIMER SAYING "First class is not offered on Air Canada flight 6325. Economy class was selected instead." ok fine - THEN WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY CHARGING DOUBLE for the EXACT SAME SEAT?????? |
Proof = computer error?

sue them

I'll call them now and see if I can reserve you something in their "super elite" section. :winkwink:
They will probably put you in the 1st row of economy and give you not 1 but 2 bags of peanuts. Woohoo! DH |
Sleazy....
I'm so not surprised by this at all.....the way they handled losing my luggage on the way to Internext this past January (and nope...they never recovered it) was absolutely ridiculous. I haven't flown with them since....do yourself a favor and just find a flight on WestJet or JetGo.... :) *belly buck* |
I smoke the fact Canada commits more than fraud very day.
The more herbs I get from canada I realize they MUSt have a deal with the US some kind of way, theres just no way this shit could come in without assistance. Its hard to smuggle pills from Mexico into the US, Im sure Canada and US have something worked out hahah |
Agreed Fly Westjet..its no wonder Air Canada has financial problems
|
it is all in the packaging right
what do they say caveat emptor let the buyer beware |

They totally suck and they are RUDE RUDE RUDE. I used to drive between Montreal and Toronto just because I refused to pay those bastards $500 round trip when they have a plane going there every half hour.
Also I flew roundtrip from Montreal to Brisbane which would have been good for a minimum us/canada round trip with the points gained. I confirmed on every leg of the trip (because I knew they were incompetent) if my frequent flyer number was on the ticket. Guess what? I got my Aeroplan statement and no credit for my trip to the other side of the planet! Air Canada:321GFY |

you simply cannot replace my favorite pair of jeans....you know the ones that fit right and are all worn in just perfect. Bastards. JFK....you're absolutely correct hon. They created a complete monopoly for quite a while....lost all sense of customer service...nuts. toonces...I totally hear ya. Is it any wonder that intra-national tourism is so bad in Canada? I can fly for cheaper to most places in the US or abroad then flying within these borders.... |
Air Canada? I love Air Canada. Of course you guys don't have to deal with the shit attitudes of such airlines as American (especially in Dallas), United (anywhere on the fucking planet) or USAir (it's a miracle I'm not a terrorist after flying them again for the first time in three years a couple months ago).
Airlines in the US with very few exceptions totally and completely suck. When was the last time you saw an AC flight attendant screaming at an old man to pick up his newspaper, that it was trash, or else he'd be 'met by someone on the ground' to have a word with him? When was the last time you went to check bags and the skycaps just stood around like they had nothing better to do than to look at you? And God forbid you have to deal with the total and complete morons in the security system at US airports on a regular basis. You could top a stick with a rock and put a tape recorded announcement on it and it would make more sense. I fly an average of once a week, sadly enough, and I'd much rather deal with Air Canada than all but one or two US companies. |

Maybe if you lost some weight, you would not worry about first class. I have not bought a first class fare ticket in over a year. Saved me a lot of $. I usually get upgraded on AA anyways, but when I do not, its no big deal.

business must be down. you can't afford enough food and you have to fly 3rd class now. I hope things pick up for you soon. |

We get in plane, plane takes off and about 2 minutes after take off pilot says somethign is wrong in plane we need to land... No big deal it happened to me before. Then we wait 4 hours and get back on plabe, which they did not tell us it was the same plane. Plane takes off about 1 minute after take off plane is shacking and starts turnign around.. No voice from cockpit telling us what's happening the only thing i knew is that water was gettign closer and closer and stewerdess was sitting in back with head between her legs... Not a funny experience when you got women screaming they goign to die and children crying... Plane landed i went to see the fucking person in charge and ask WTF the pilot did not say anything and she said he was supposed to say something but apparently he did not want to scare us and preferred to shut up. This was a flight from hell... Jetsgo = Nogo for me |

Its amazing I'm not a terrorist having dealt with Air Canada for the 5 years I spent in Canada doing weekly business travel as well! Ever try to fly from Montreal to the US via Pearson? Great system there! Unbelievable-you wait 1/2 hour for Air Canada to load your bags so you can walk them through customs where you stand for ridiculous amounts of time then have to run 1/2 way across Toronto for your connecting flight. Lets not even talk about the airport improvement fee at Dorval ,perpetuated by Air Canada's need to have a better terminal to hog, making competitive gates practically at Mirabel. All of this making it an even more annoying process to get through security than it is at Heathrow! And BELIEVE me I have been treated so rudely by Air Canada employees it would make you cringe. Both as a cutomer of theirs and as a business partner. At least in the US, there is competition. If you don't like united, fly continental, or AA etc etc etc, and because you have the competition a route like Montreal-Toronto say....Washington D.C.-New York is $100.00 not $500.00. |
