this has nothing to do with the industry but more of our country. we have a gay bishop now? i mean what could be more of a direct direction from the bible. i don't have ANY thing wrong with homosexuality but this is the church. the man who is suppose to be helping deliver Gods message to people is gay? is the church really a business that can't afford to take a lawsuit? i'm not understanind how this was even an option on the table for this chuch! the most fuck up part of the entire situation is that our country was built on a strong christian background, so where does this leave us? i'd love to hear from anyone, especially people who are looking at the USA and laughing.

not to mention that it seems perfectly ok if a priest molests a child. he is not prosecuted, he is not kicked out of the church. they simply transfer him to another community, so he can do more damage. in my opinion a gay bishop is the least of their worries. religion is full of so many hypocricies anyhow...

It's kind of funny. Churches are an adaptive being just like any other species, ESPECIALLY the catholic church. Throughout time they do what they have to in order to survive.. Example, when the catholic church wanted to take over spanish culture they were blocked by the idol-worshipping ways their religions followed.. What did they do? They adapted.. They made the virgin mother a bigger focalpoint of their religious practices in order to allow the engulfing of these so-called Mary cults..

In the bible, (and I'm not a holy roller, I'm a proud athiest), sometime after romans 1:31/1:32 they also go on to speak against eating beef, allowing women in churches in any capacity, allowing women to do anything but be mothers, LOANING MONEY FOR INTEREST .. these were all sins .. these are all things that have since been adjusted in order to keep power.

Welp, I am a catholic, National Catholic faith actually and walked away from the Roman catholic church. If you can get past the struggles in our dimension and look at the bigger picture, "There should be no throw child of christ", you can accept the happenings of late.

Yep, I stopped going to church in the '70's when the priest in charge of our church used the parishes money to build a tennis court and a swimming pool for the priests use only, behind their living quarters on the property.

Religion is nothing more than the most effective way to control a mass populace.

Right now, though, all churches are at a croassroads. One one hand, they desperately want to stick to what they've been teaching for centuries (homosexuality is a sin). On the other hand, they see membership in the church dwindling every day.

They want to stick to their guns, but they also know that they have to bow to political correctness in order to keep the sheep they have, and to coax more into the herd.

People are getting more and more fed up with religion in general, which is why we're seeing more and more athiests and agnostics.
