unmountable boot drive

chkdisk /r

Its part of Microsoft continuing marketing strategy which many people don't see.

If they put out a perfect product, no one would need to upgrade.

Blue screens is Microsoft's sneaky way of selling the promise and consumer expectation every few years that the next version will be less bug free than the last.

mine was a memory dump issue 0x1xxx0 the one you get with win2000 and nt 4.0 all the time.

Never have seen a blue screen on XP..

At least for me XP has been rock solid... I dont recall EVER having any problems to speak of

been getting them on memory dumps and stuff... i really need to install some updates. haven't gotten one in a couple weeks tho.

i didnt know they had a blue screen on XP< iv never hit it, and i have uptimes in excess of 3 weeks, maybe you need to learn how to use a computer properly?
