Safe to go swimming with contacts on?
Is it safe to swim in a pool with contacts on? (the indoor pools)
|
i would take them out unless you dont want to wear glasses and are trying to seduce some pool hotties
|
Not unless you first figure out a way to find it again after it floats off.
|
dont have glasses - and my eyes are so bad i wont be able to see shit if i take em off
|
I've been hitting the ocean at least twice a week for the last month or two - never had a problem with losing my contacts. I don't think they will "float" out as long as you keep your eyes closed in the water. Wear them in the shower as a test :)

No not a good idea unless you're wearing a face mask.

I have focus daily disposibles and I'll go swimming with them on, but if I loose em, its not a big deal.
I'll even open my eyes underwater with them on, but squint a little so they hopefully don't come off. (haven't lost any yet) Would you be pissed if you lost yours? Thats prb. the main question. |
I know people who swim in pools, beahces and go to water parks with their contact and never had problems....
|
I've gone swimming in an indoor pool, in the ocean and in fresh water lakes with my contacts in and never had a problem. Good luck!

Try to keep the water from splashing in your eyes, they will move around and iritate yours eyes. And sometimes they float out when you open your eyes under water. :2 cents:
