He's a good writer & director, but a good actor? Nah. He's good at playing himself, but he plays himself in every one of his movies. A good actor has some range & can play many parts.

I just watched Purple Rose of Cairo this week. That is an hour and a half stolen out of my life. Not that he acted in that. There would have been no risk of me seeing it, if he were actually physically going to be in it. Ugh.
