Non english webmasters
 

What do you English speaking guys/girls (US, Great Britain, Canada, Australian, India, etc.) think about us.

Do we sound stupid to you? Do you keep in mind that English is not our native language and read our e-mails/posts with one eye closed or do you think that we are just some dumb foreigners trying to take your business?

I'm not trying to get some "we are threatened bad" kind of post. I was just wondering since i always assume that people keep in mind that English is my second language but maybe I'm wrong and should i get some English language courses or something.

I personally was very annoyed by the bad accents at internext. Hard to make out what the fuckers said. Learn to fucking speak.

You have phenomenal English. Don't worry about it.

I think that anyone that speaks more than one language is a cut above the rest personally; furthermore communication is key.

I know that most Europeans speak more than two or three languages by virtue of being right next to other countries.

I think getting a spam in Fax-English is annoying though.

So to answer your question, yes, we think non-English webmasters are crap.

i have found that the ppl im doing biz with in my nonadult biz are less open to "international" businesspartners...generally adultwebmasters couldnt care less where you are from if you seem to be doing the right thing :)

I have heard good things about Sweden, did you know that your country is mentioned as 'the country where everything is good' here in Holland? But i also heard that there is a lot of tax there... how high is it? Here in Holland t's up to 52%

I'll definitely visit your country at least once in my life! but since it is up north i never came there (until this summer i preferred south above north but since the current heat I'm dreaming about the north :)).

My company pays about 50% in taxes.

If i earn 100 000 Skr

First 25% of in VAT
Then 20% of in social charge
After that 50% of in taxes

Well, I guess my english is not perfect, but I also know Bulgarian, Spanish and Russian, and understand German (haven't practiced it for several years).
Believe it or not, this gives me a nice advantage when I visit any adult or non adult web site. Also I have partners all over the world and do not care where are they from if they do the work.

But what about writing "horney" sales texts? I could write great ones in Dutch but in english??? they are probably crappy...

In fact most non-english people speak better english than most people in an american call center.
