Adult Biz;
Pros:
- Flexible working hours
- opportunity for Being your own boss
(don't work if you don't want to..)

Cons:
- no guarantee for the future.

Add yours.

If your bizz is not a dayjob, it is not secure for the future in any segment. Porn, shoes or candy.

No full time commitment equals failure in almost every case, unless you are VERY lucky.

With the worldwide economy the way it is and will continue to be with the bushies in charge, i cant see how a dayjob is secure either. Unless you got something on somebody..............

the adult biz, as so many want to put it (like, oh you work in the adult business and you don't have a day job?), is your day job, your night job, your weekend job and your holiday job.

the only differences btwn this and an office job are:

1. you answer to yourself
2. you pay yourself whatever you want (within financial means)
3. if you are sick, you can work from bed
4. you and only you are either the reason for your success or the reason for your failure

this industry is a full time job cause if you are thinking of something that may be innovative, 9 times out of 10, someone else has already thought of it and is implementing the idea if financially worthwhile.

I 100% agree with this post.

Its good to have a mixture of mainstream businesses in addition to your adult stuff.

You won't be the most popular neighbor on your block if you're known to be in the porno biz. So at least if you have lots of mainstream stuff and someone gets wind of your porn biz, you can just play it down as a small side investment.
