you need to backup your shit incase you ever get a virus. The best backup software i have found is http://powerquest.com/v2i/protector/
You can perform hourly backups even when you are are still in windows.It should never take days to recover from a virus or hard drive failure.

If you work on the internet you need to take security seriously.

RUN Windows Update
INSTALL a good firewall
USE good Antivirus software - Norton Antivirus
UPDATE Virus definitions
