affiliate referral payouts - what do you prefer?
 

i see alot of 10% or 5%, and i know ND has the $200 that never works ....

would you rather have the traditional payout levels on referrals, or have something different?

Think it will be some time before i can afford a $200 per kind of deal, but maybe something along those lines?

like $100 per referral you send that makes atleast 4 or 5 sales, and allow you a spot to check referral stats.

OR would you be more interested in a higher referral percentage? maybe 15%-25% of commisions earned by referrals?


i think personally id like the $100 per, only because i know most people i refer anywhere dont do shit, so if they give it one good blast and possibly make the 4 sales, its good for me.

other option is flat payout per signup.

like $5 or so of every signup your referral makes.

can also make all of these 2 and 3 tier as well ....

Percentage definately works better. Like boobdollars, I think they do 15% of each signup.

There's some programs that use the flat payout method that I've referred like 30 people to and none of them make whatever the cut off in sales is to qualify for the referral fee.

i think ill go with a percentage as well then. need to work on numbers and see what is still profitable on a 1 tier system, and a 2/3 tier system.

Might go with just a one tier so i can keep percentage higher.

I prefer a payed percentage of the referred webmaster's sales.

I consider percentage to be better for a webmaster. Lots of newbies or people changing their minds after joining and not sending traffic/sales won't even make the 3-4 sales for the $100, let's say, but those who send traffic for a long time make you more money in the long run. But to send you traffic for a long time depends on your payouts/fast payments and ability to convert for their traffic. Anyway, percentage is better, with 1-2 tiers.

10% is great.
I don't think 2nd tier is needed.
