why start an affiliate program when you havent mastered your own traffic yet?

Lol.. thats what I keep asking myself. Lil2Rich.. Your gonna loose money for 6 months to a year.. and your going to have to continuosly reinvest.. are you ready for that?

Where do you people come from? So tell me, how is he going to lose money for 6 months to a year?

In 3 months we have to read 6 huge posts how he lost money and has to start over again but with a little help from his friends he will get his shit back up again and he will write a tutorial about starting an avs program before he actually done it himself.

I wish he would just work on his shit and wouldnt flood gfy with his update posts about his status every 5 mins.

I know from some of his posts you can't tell where he's at with things but Rich will be fine. He's moving forward with everything now regardless of what you would think from reading his posts.

I talk to Rich all the time. Everyone here thinks he's a TGP building moron when in fact his traffic is better than most peoples here. Like I said earlier, he doesn't even touch TGP anymore.

at the same time st23 is one of the most straight forward, no bullshit people on this board. so i tend to believe what he has to say.

rich has stolen and scammed in the past (i'm not interested in arguing it unless he starts disputing), so my level of respect for him is zero.

even still, i'll give out the odd bit of advice directed towards him.

I think you will find that the crap he gets is more due to the way he conducts himself. You make $50 a day and you are making more than half the people on here.

Anyhow TDF was spot on with his statement. Even thought Rich annoys the shit out of me with his badly thought out posts, I really don't want to see him fall flat on his face. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Unless he has the means to shoot some seriously fantastic in demand content, or has some brilliant idea 1000 other webmasters are not trying to copy, his ass is going to have to FIGHT to keep his members.. He will be spending money on:

Hosting
Plugins (Free Plugins Usually dont cut it)
Advertising
Tour/Gallery design costs (if he does not do it himself)

Just to keep some surfer happy enough to make them hold out from hitting cancel for one month..

He has Programming the backend to worry about.. (if he wants to do anything top notch)

He also better have a secure server and know a thing or two about keeping password traders and rooters out..

Then he has to figure out how to get people to promote his shit..
only 1/4 of the people you get to sign up are actually going to send you traffic.. most people are full of shit when they say they'll send you traffic..

You have to convince people your shit is not like the rest, and you have to offer them something else that they cant get from the program they are already at..

You have to come up with a serious plan, and have the funds to stay afloat until you can stand on your own feet..

Theres also so many other variables that I wont go into.. Thats for him to learn and me to keep to myself cuz its in my best interests..

You act like I dont know what the fuck I'm talking about.. I work with programs every day and hear the inside headaches that happen.. Its my job to build shit that converts, and helps to retain...

if it were something i couldnt do myself, i wouldnt bother investing in it.

One of the plans i had was to bust my ass on my own traffic, pull my best conversions, and make my PERSONAL stats available upon request.

How many sponsors or even webmasters sit here and yack about super conversions, and why you should push the product ... but they dont show you shit.

Once these projects are in place, i can put my focus back into traffic. I bust my ass day in and day out. I know what needs to be done, and i will do it.

I will let my hard work and serious dedication speak for itself with public stats, and an open forum to my webmasters so i can personally show them each how to make this work for them.

If they decide not to use it, thats fine as well ... i can work enough for myself without affiliates.

Sorry to sound like aknow-it-all here, but this is well thought out, and has been consulted on many levels by many people. Im not just jumping into this.

stocktrader is one of the very few people i trust to go through my ideas with.

he knows what i am upto usually everyday. He knows all my plans, all my programs, my financial situation, my traffic, my signups, etc.

If i had to have anyone sticking up for me, thank god its him

I appreciate the little advice that you offer, but dont think for one small minute that i need or want your respect.

gaining "quiet's respect" or becomming "bp4l approved" just did not fit into my business plan.

It is not uncommon that the owner of a site can generally outsell his affiliates by a large margin.

You may do very well with your own site but affiliates may struggle so making your own stats available to prospective affiliates might create problems for you that you don't really need.

and beleive me, im sure alot of people will wish and expect me to fall on my face, i accept that.

But what program owner or business owner has become successful without risk?

i WILL be successful at what i put my mind to. there is no question.

whether its tommorow, or 6yrs from now. And whether its this program, or another. As you can probably tell from knowing me for some time, i dont exactly give up easily.
