How do you know who you can trust and what you will get and how much to pay?

I want to buy traffic but I am so afraid I will get scammed. Who is the rock solid traffic broker out there?

Sobe, always start with small deals and move up from there.

Even if you are dealing with a "big" site, talk em into a little "trial" for a few hundred bucks, if they won't let you, don't deal with em.

i noticed no one mentioned success rates. Anyone actually have success buying content? Buying it is easy. I'm not throwing out my money until I see some conversion numbers i like or one person saying they made out like a bandit. just one would be good! :winkwink:

I've bought traffic from a few sources and every time, it was a waste of money. Most of the hits wouldn't even show up where I was sending. That pretty much turned me off to buying. I would like to find a nice source to help feed some toplists I run.

Depends on what you call success. If you are asking if you can get member signups from the purchased traffic, and make a boatload of money.... The answer is NO.

When I buy traffic, it is for the purpose of gaining rank on sextracker and other counter type sites. In general the traffic you buy has been jerked around, and abused prior to it's arrival at your site, making it next to worthless for direct $$$ conversion.

Our niche TGP sites need the boost to gain overall numbers, and new trades tend to sign up quickly to a site that sextracker reports 50K to 100 K unique.

We also are mindful that introducing the wrong purchased traffic to our trade arena can be a major disaster!!!!

Many traffic vendors boast their traffic is quality, however in my opinion, their claims are far from reality. There are many who get here on the boards and talk a good game, however it is my guess they don't have a high percentage of repeat customers.

I too would like to hear any Traffic buying success stories...

I'm always a bit cynical about traffic guys selling to paysites. If they sell to your paysite for $5/k (or whatever), that probably means that their traffic is not good enough to make them the equivalent amount sending directly to THEIR sponsor. I have seen traffic people on this board mention 'diluting' the quality of their traffic so that they don't end up selling too much of the good stuff at their normal price.

depending what you want it for, stay away from people who are not known at first... then, when you have money you don't mind loosing, try them...

start with PPC or with reputable people like sex.com, spotbroker, choker, etc...
