All those party pics don't give me the impression of a professional show.

Apparently most of my webmaster collegues are just trying to make a few snapshots of naked chicks ... looks very much like one of those consumer sex shows ... not much difference. Are you guys really in adult biz???

A bunch of guys standing around hookers who get paid a little bit more (because photos are being taken) is called "networking" at internext.

If pics from a show make sense, then yes, it would be much more interesting to see who is talking to whom ... more interesting than to see even more naked chicks. I have a bunch of them on my sites and I may scan the rest from Panthouse :)

At least you get the big picture .... Take the money away and those pics will only be of guys getting drunk.

not here to bash you but a few things to take into note , what ever kind of show you will go to you will see that item you markit well for us ya we markit naked people , and trust me i am very ( even tho i didnt get to go ) :(

that alot more went on a that show then just naked pics , one if you cannt handle it then you shouldnt be here working it , and next seem like you know what they thread was going to be so why look then .
Maybe you should go to a show and then you can be the person here posting all the pics of the non naked people of who you meet and was so happy to meet , !

Last Internext I went to the seminars, cruised the floor, chatted some folks up, and didn't go to any of the parties. I spent the evenings with a few choice people that I wanted to spend time with, and the days were spent doing business. Worked fine for me.

I did get tired of all the naked silicone, though. I'm kinda short, and the girls in 5" heels puts their chest right at eye level for me. Rather distracting...

But I had fun! And hey, I got to see Penn &Teller again, so what am I complaining about, right? :)

Its just meeting up with people you see maybe once or twice a year. A lot more business comes out of GFY and the other major webmasters hangouts.

Many people get so drunk they don't even remember what they did at the show.

I just wanted to act like an ass. I won't do that ever again, honest.

I think it comes down to the basic fact that the majority of webmasters in this industry are men. If you were pushing a program at a convention, would you rather have a bunch of guys in suits looking professional or a bunch of hot babes to snag the attention of the webmasters? It's just marketing.

I am sure there is plenty of business going on you just havent seen it because you weren't there. Sure there is lots of sex, drugs, and the like but I bet behind the scenes there is more going on than you could ever imagine.

But instead of boring pix somebody might post a summary about public discussions at the show. I think there would have been plenty, plenty of subjects for symposiums and work groups ... I just say "payment processing" and "patents".

But probably most people were simply too busy partying.

There are parties at any entertainment industry convention, not just porn. If you don't understand the value of parties, along with the rest of what goes on, that's your problem.

I had a good time partying AND I made some really good contacts and found the weekend to be very productive for me...
And it's good to be able to get together with people you talk to online all year and go a little nuts.

At other trade shows (other industries) it's pretty usual you can BUY summaries. But of course it makes little sense selling or posting a summary about some whores fucking each other.
