Here is a believable figure for you 100%, I have only once tried to buy something on eBay and got ripped off.
If anybody reading this is from Greensburg, Pennsylvania reply to this thread because I want you to go look at an address for me.

A very small percent overall, a very large percent in certain categories.

It would be funny if GFY'ers around the world grouped together on fraud cases like that....

It would go down something like this:

1: You do a deal with someone & they rip you off.

2. You post their address to GFY and someone takes a photo of their house for you.

3. Within 48 hours, living however many hundreds of miles away from the person who ripped you off -- you simply email them a photo of their house and a "Please remedy the situation." (Could that be considered a threat?)

4. The scammer pees his panties and does whatever he was supposed to do in the first place. (Maybe?)

Would probably cut down outside fraud against GFY'ers in a big way anyway :)

Supposedly ebay/paypal dropping the adult crap was not because of it being adult, it was becasue of the amount of fraud and copyright infringement that was happening.. So I would assume that becasue of that the numbers were really high in some cases..
