Yo, this is soooooo fucked up. Official investigation of the Columbia disaster turns up that NASA is fulla so many assholes and jerkwads that they end up fighting one another and trying to grandstand. That's why our Mars missions fuck up every other day and spaceships blow up.

They should hire some Klingons.

my hubby used to work for nasa many moons ago... he was always astounded at the tards and lazy fucks that worked there. hell the one guy was his fathernlaw and he was a fucking complete drunk that drank all day long..while at work..

people are so negligent these days with jobs that are crucial not to be negligent..

For years I would listen to one Richard C. Hoagland the guy who claims there're pyramids and faces on Mars and Hoagland would rant and rave about NASA and no one listened to him. What Richard has said year after freaking year is EXACTLY what the govt. is NOW saying about NASA. Same as you are saying and a daily influx of former and present NASA people are saying.

I worked for the gov't. It's not just nasa, it's the gov't. All of the gov't, as far as I could see.

I could rant for a long time about the people sleeping on the job. Coke addicts snorting in the back room. Coming in an hour late, taking 2 hrs for lunch, and leaving an hour early. I can't imagine how anything gets done.

Well, ok, there were a few who worked. They made the world go round. Damn few of them, though, and they wouldn't let me into their world (I was a recent engineering grad and hadn't yet "made my bones"). I left after 3 yrs of sitting around, doing nothing, while my department head said "don't stress, take it easy."

What??? You're an engineering grad and they didn't recognize it?

We need engineers like Iraq needs stabilization. It's a cryin' shame.

Shit yeah. They hired me to run this complex machine. State of the art, all that. It was sitting there on its new cement pad, all ready to go, cool computer humming away, ready to make state of the art composite rocket motors. But there was one catch: it wasn't plugged in. It needed a special high voltage line directly from the telephone pole. When I got the job I was told that the dude would come to plug it in soon. When I left 3 years later is was still not plugged in. I'm not joking.

Same with the Challenger disaster... they fired the good ones and promoted the ones that were to blame..

My bro works for Boeing at NASA and he has some crazy ass stories about what goes on around there..

They left a 12 foot beam in one of the engines once.. luckily it was found before it caused any problems... just an example of the carelessness at the ol launch pad..

What you guys are saying is very similar to the stuff Hoagland has been saying for years.
