Merchant accounts for EU webmasters

Does anybody know any companies that can set up merchant accounts for EU webmasters? Netbilling can but I have to be turning over more than $50,000 a month which I'm not, unfortunately.

Thanks for any help :)

all EU merchants are $50k+ per mo.

Are you in the UK? Check out nochex.com

Darrell 08-01-2003 11:41 AM

I have checked out nochex and as far as I'm aware they don't set up merchant accounts. Thanks anyway.

How about vxsbill ? But they require you to setup a dutch company there. No monthly sales limit. Anyone try them?

I'm currently considering using them. VXSbill have no minimum processing limit and neither does interpay, which is the banks organisation in Holland.

But what's the tax for dutch company? Is it high?

If you live in a EU country I'm very sure you pay tax in your own country depending on how you set it all up, but you still need to pay VAT there.

I have a company but not a Dutch company. I did look at setting up in Holland when I moved out of the UK but the taxes were high compared to other EU countries. I will phone VXSbill on
Monday and see what they say. Are there any other alternative companies?

the indigo 12-01-2003 03:32 PM

Seriously, is there's ANY solution for EU corporation?

- Card Service sucks ball.
- Heard bad shit on ecommerceserviceuk
- Nochex / VXSbill are pretty much unknown and probably don't work with Netbilling. We don't have a Dutch corp anyway.

So if you have an EU corp you're pretty much fucked for adult processing.

Anyone currently use Netbilling with a SOLID merchant account in Europe?

Check out the new pricings at Verotel, WM's > 10k/month get their own descriptor, that's almost a merchant account!!!

I like the way they changed their pricing options too!!!

Fast link? Click the button below! ;)

I dunno, but it sounds neat :thumbsup

Descriptor is your company name on your customer's credit card statement... no more chargebacks caused by the guy who claims he doesn't know what it's for...

A descriptor almost like a merchant account?

If Verotel goes down, you go down. You can't control scrubbing and don't have access to any information. Verotel with our without a description is still Verotel :)

advrice 12-01-2003 04:06 PM

Then get a merchant account... the options closest to it is your own descriptor, right? Just wanna tell that Verotel is offering some cool options and do not charge the f(*&(#(ing $ 750 Visa fee

A description is just that: a descriptor.

It's not even coming close to a merchant account IMHO. (In fact, it's even worse since you better have a reputable "Billed by Verotel" than "Billed by YXZ company".

That might interest other people though. :)

Hi,

We have merchant accounts in the US and the EU, all through Netbilling. I know they are adding some new banks too.

Which EU merchant account you are using?

And how can you processor from both US and EU with Visa? Aren't they against that?

jeroman 12-02-2003 06:10 AM

I have a merchant account in Europe, german bank through
ecommerceservice UK and using netbilling as gateway.
I also use CCbill, Ibill and some other IPSP's and have not heard anything from them regarding this issue.

You should atleast process >30 K with most accounts in europe,
thats what I heard.

Madball 12-02-2003 06:13 AM

Maybe he's processing different URLs/Websites through different Visa regions. This is ok with Visa I think.

abdab_1 12-02-2003 07:07 AM

I have contacts who can help with tis - mail me at [email protected]

I need an idea of processing volumes per month, chargeback rates, a URL and a contact name.

This company process at less than 10% !!!!

With Regard to Nochex we handle UK debit card processing not CC though contact me - [email protected] and I may be able to work with non UK Business's

You offer a 3rd party setup, so why so you spam that in a thread regarding merchant accounts?

Konda 12-02-2003 07:36 AM

Why not just get a merchant account at EBS in Germany ?
