yet another Bush-ism

"Asked how he could spend $170 million for a primary in which he has no opponent, Bush quickly answered, "Just watch."

CNN

Shit.. that guy is an embarassment! That question arose yesterday in one of his rare press conferences - think the 9th since he came into office.

As usual he could say nothing... just rambling and avoiding all "sensitive" issues and "educating" the press corp with "US history" and spurting out his programmed verbal about "Iraq was a threat" and his blend of tax cuts are a "job creation program"... amazing shit! :)

poor public speaking skills (roughly 99% of the population) and not taking any shit are two different things.

TheJimmy 07-31-2003 11:36 PM

he's an anti-American piece of shit

that's metaphorically pissing on the graves of dead veterans....

fuck him

ask me how I really feel...

Digipimp 07-31-2003 11:39 PM

How insulting is that to people that he has to spend 170 million in a primary with no opponent.

NoCarrier 07-31-2003 11:53 PM

Come on. Bush is doing his best. I feel sorry for him. People feel sorry for him and that's how he's going to get re-elected :glugglug

Vivaldi 08-01-2003 12:53 AM

Pathetic.

The previous elections were kinda funny: Bore and Gush.

This guy is going to ruin the US

nicchick 08-01-2003 06:33 PM

Yeah, No Carrier, thats a great criteria for electing a president-
I have a semi-retarded neighbor who also "Doing his best" and I feel very sorry for him as well.
Maybe he should run for President in 2004-
People like you might vote for him.

freeadultcontent 08-01-2003 06:40 PM

Anyone catch when he said he will not stop working until everyone who is looking for a job gets one?

Then after the rare press confrence he went directly on vacation?

:disgust

MassAppeal 08-01-2003 09:44 PM

one thing is for sure, bush isnt going away.
i dont think he needed 170 million to prove that point.

theking 08-01-2003 09:52 PM

From the CNN article.

"Byrd, a first-rate orator, took to the Senate floor recently to berate network executives for their plans to air a program that would show Appalachian natives adjusting to life in ritzy Southern California.

The Democrat said such a program would perpetuate stereotypes that Appalachian people are "dim-witted, barefooted hillbillies."

He had another suggestion for a television series.

"We could take highly paid, well-groomed television network executives and relocate them to the sticks, where they'd have to try to find a job with health care and pension benefits and enough pay to support a family, and adjust to everyday life in rural America," Byrd said. "Now that would be funny."

Not a bad idea.

Troels 08-01-2003 11:21 PM

Hahahaha

I would love to see that moron take an IQ test against his opponents.

And they all know how to draw a big McD map....

Who in their right mind thinks George Bush is clever?

He is pathetic.

I doubt a 'blind' predidential' election would give YOU a dumber president.

Is 4 higher than 3?

Troels 08-01-2003 11:24 PM

How can you guys elect that retard to be your leader?

Is that guy your best?

Don't worry in 2008 Hillary will win and then soon after, the term 'eunuch' will have a re-birth in history :winkwink:

jas1552 08-02-2003 02:18 AM

Nah. Condoleeza in '08

Schwick 08-02-2003 05:28 AM

Just wait until there is some big act of terror just before the election and he declares martial law and calls off or postpones the election. The guy has on many times said how much better a dictatorship would be.

rooster 08-02-2003 06:15 AM

since when is leadership based on iq. Think of the smartest people you know, they are probably insecure nerds with no backbone.

Yeah that's what I'm really afraid off, interesting enough that you would post this, I had typed a similar post, then erased it thinking maybe I'm a nut to think this way, but sure looks like we're heading towards the Augustan years again.

I don't think it would be such a bad idea to obtain dual-citizenship.
