Earlier this week it was server 10 that did the exact same thing. They said it was a critical error and that all files were not recoverable. Later the redirect changed from the page you see now to a gambling page.

Two critical errors on two servers in one week is pretty
bad luck.

i pretty much tell myself ALL sponsors or ANYTHING that does not belong to me, redirects FOREIGN traffic.

The damage is permanent, it's not a temporary redirection.

If you were serious about this business you wouldn't have anything on a free host anyways.

You should consider anything you build there temporary.

That being said, Wayne is a good guy and I doubt he's trying to fuck anyone.

Their paid hosting is excellent and their support has been far better than any of the other hosting companies I have used so far!

Regarding being serious about this business and using only
paid hosting.

A smart business person understands the value of controlling
expenses while maximizing profits. Tgp galleries are a sideline thing (additional income) for many people and if you can filter the highbandwith traffic in exchange for losing a few surfers that want to buy penis pills, what doesn't make good business sense about doing that?

I personally host my free sites, avs sites, full page ads, scripts, etc.. on paid hosting but run some auto tgp programs on the side.

But you are correct about whatever you are not paying to
have hosted should hopefully not be your only source if income.

Does smut server redirect random traffic or foreign traffic to 404's? They say they dont but people are saying they do. Anyone know?

Smutserver 10 is still redirecting on all its pages.

Taking a whole server and redirecting all the pages permanently--if that's what they're up to--isn't what I expected from the Smutserver people. It hurts to see all these unethical business moves...

How did you obtain this info?

I don't know about www20, about www10, I emailed them and they said they had a critical error, were trying to recover files but that it was not looking good. I'm assuming that if recovery were possible it would have been done by now.

My paid accounts there (most of them) are doing the same thing today. :(

Well that sucks, is it because of these "Critical errors" and permanent redirects on certain servers or is smutserver randomly redirecting/404ing traffic on all its servers?
