I have officially resigned. So as of right now, i am a full time wannabe webmaster!! wooohooo!!

Scary, eh?

I have never been so releived to lose a job. Way too much stress from a job.


Well just wanted to start another useless thread, my postcount isnt quite what it used to be. Had to increase it a bit.

It will all be fine.

Rolled out a project few weeks ago that is doing as good as was planned.

Have 2 more in the works. One is huge and i really cant wait!!

Thank god i did most of my investing when i had income from dayjob.

Now my projects are 90% paid off and ready to roll ...

I also made a move recently that has benefitted me greatly.

I picked up a partner mid-way through one of my major projects, who has a few talents that will greatly benefit us.


This is great because we have arranged a 50/50 split on this project. He understands that i already have thousands into it, and for him to earn his 50% he must put in a good amount more without anything from me.

Means even more money in the bucket, and we both reap the benefits.

I am so excited about one of these that i can barely sleep sometimes.

Please, PLEASE tell me you guys traded papers and signed contracts.

There's only one person in this business I trust enough that I would go into a partnership with.

Hearing you say that you "picked up" a partner, and knowing that your income is going to rely solely on this business and this partnership...
the whole thing just makes me shudder.

But anyway, apprehension over your partnership aside, I wish you the absolute BEST of luck, the drive to work HARD, and the willpower to keep going when times look really fucking tough.

very true, and we discussed this.

#1 the site, domain, host, billing, and everything else is 100% in my name.

#2 the only thing he is going to be working on will be promotion and graphics and stuff. I didnt see any harm in taking a chance.


If it came to him ditching me, i would just manage all promotion myself and contract the graphics. no biggie i think.



If anything it is he that is taking the risk, but we feel strong about it all.

It was so bad at one time i was about to be evicted for not paying rent, couldnt afford ISP, etc.

Now i am levelling out i think.
