I must say having listened to them and they cleared up a few scare stories, eg i would only be paying 2% on sites which use videos and the fact they have like 170 patents

It makes good business sense to at least talk with them, I am not saying sign but to talk with them.

I think that's the whole reason for so many of the crazy packets being sent out..

Can't say one way or the other, but at this point, what is.. is..

They are initially wanting people to just open up a dialog with them.. then deal with matters.. maybe they're showboating.. or maybe they're well within their rights and should be contacted to work things out..

as was said.. ya gotta take all the information put out from both sides, then determine for yourself what you want to do..

just remember out of 1,000s of packets 27 signed, and it seems that the ones that did sign, did so because they got a sweetheart deal.

Id relocate to iraq before I gave anyone 2% of my income :2 cents:

This is the problem I have first its not 2%

$1 to 50,000 owe 1,500
50,0001 to 100,000 owe 3,000


Neither of these numbers equal 2%. I had a friend who called he makes about 25,000 a year from his site, they told him $1500 was the min payment and its a contract for a year. First the person on the phone was shocked at the little amount he made and stated there might be some flexiblity but would have to get back to my friend. With the contract being only for one year, that means you arent locking anything down if in a year then they can say now it starts at 10,000 to license. I wish they would be straight forward, if you are a business man talk to me like one dont try and sell me on something that isnt real.

Seems like contacting them would be like clicking the "please remove me from your spam list" link. Lets them know you are there and in this case lets them know you are worried about it.
