Houston area webmasters who got the packet
 

Serious post here. Are there any adult webmasters in the Houston, TX (or the surrounding) area who received letters from Acacia and don't yet have a lawyer? I am a bit worried about the cost and wanted to know if anyone is interested in splitting expenses and hiring a lawyer as a group. There is strength in numbers. I am hearing rumors of a second, more threatening letter being sent out by Acacia only days after the first one. I thought I would have more time. Guess not.

Acacia? You mean from that ad agency, whos name eludes me at 12am?

Are they contacting you regarding a paysite you own, or for linking to paysites / videos?

The letter I received made reference to the pay sites I operate via my affiliate program. The affiliate program url was cited in the letter.

That wasn't how the found me, apparently. The letter I received from them cited my affiliate program url, not the one in my sig. Moreover, the letter was dated July 14th. I didn't have any posts on this board before that date.
