Netbilling at Internext

Hi Everyone,

Netbilling will be exhibiting at booth #501 / 600 (the first booth on the right as you enter the show).
Please come by and say hello to some of our terrific staff and feel free to find out how Netbilling can save you $$$ and give you more control over you credit card and ACH processing.

Our very own Karen Campbell will be speaking in "The Billing Roundtable" being held on Sunday August 3rd at 11:30 am with other industry billing participants.

Thank you, Mitch Farber

But, Mitch....you're not going to be there, are you?

Damn. I've gotten so used to you and your lovely wife being at the shows...:)

Hugs to you both, I know there's a baby being made. :)

Hi Raven,

Sarah is due in 4 weeks so we cannot travel. I will miss you there.

This will be my forst missed Internext since 1998.

Mitch

Raven 07-28-2003 08:08 PM

Damn...seems like yesterday, you were announcing it, too....

Bet she can't wait...or you, for that matter...:)

Well, you will be missed and I'll have a drink in yours and Sarah's and the baby's honour...:)

Put a red ribbon under the crib when it gets to the house...to ward off evil spirits...my bubbah swore by it. :)

Hey, congrats with the baby!
I'm thinking of getting a merchant account, but I'm shocked by the death of all those billing companies.
Won't you have the same problems?

Netbilling isnt a billing company, they just set you up with your own merchant account, get your number and bank to accept you, they process the cards and checks for you, your money goes to your merchant bank, netbilling bills you monthly for its services. the customers are billed directly by you, not by netbilling. netbilling just simplifies having a merchant account by letting you use their secure processing servers and 24 hour cust. service reps.

Mitch...while you there...I was wondering, do you accept Canadians who have a corporation in USA? I'm not 100% sure but if I remember well, you only accept foreign webmasters who generate a minimum of 40,000$ US of gross sales per month right?

Hi,

Having a US corp is not enough to get a US merchant account. You must have a US social security # as well. If you or your partner do, then we can set you up woth no minimum required.

Thank you, Mitch Farber

venus 07-29-2003 11:58 PM

Actually, I will not be at this show but some of my staff will. What do you mean by that statement though Kimmy?

Are you referring to this...
MC rules state that 15 chargebacks in a month put you in the fine program if you are over 1% combined credits and chargebacks?
We have never seen this enforced, have you with any of the IPSPs so far?

Mitch

venus 07-30-2003 01:11 AM

We had been up to 2% chargebacks for about 2 months in a row, and over 1.5% for several other months, our merchant bank worked with us to get it down was all. No fines or problems. They said as long as we was showing we was working to get it down then it wouldnt be a problem. They said the problems occur when people have 3,4 and even 5% chargebacks and dont call them or respond to any of their requests to get them down. She said those were the people they shut down But they had never shut down an account for being a little bit over and showed they was working to reduce the chargebacks.

We had over 1% for a month a few months ago also so we called the bank and they said no problem as long as it was not consistent. Netbilling turned on CVV2 enforcement for us and we have not had an issue since with new signups and are way below 1% for several months now too.

Z

p.s. Mitch, I am meeting with Karen at your booth to have some lunch. Looking forward to it. Sorry you cannot go.

NETbilling 07-30-2003 12:06 PM

Z & Poppy,

I am sorry I will not be there either. Have fun!!!

Mitch

NETbilling 07-31-2003 01:03 PM
