What's your BREAKING POINT?

If you do not run a company but work for one, what is your breaking point, how much are you willing to put up with until you say fuck it and find a new place to work?

foe 07-28-2003 05:22 PM

dont work for anyone :)

CDSmith 07-28-2003 05:22 PM

I once killed a man at my old job just to watch him die.

Now I work from home.

XxXotic 07-28-2003 05:23 PM

depends on the situation. if you wake up in the morning and have no desire to get out of bed because you hate your job... move on

detoxed 07-28-2003 05:23 PM

You getting upset?

It's hard to state a "breaking point". It just feels right. You know?

Kanoealoha 07-28-2003 05:23 PM

I just put up with it...

no reason to bite the hand that feeds you...

anyway, its not like they're around 24/7...
and their stupidity is always a good laugh
:2 cents:

Juicy D. Links 07-28-2003 05:24 PM

GrimShawn 07-28-2003 05:24 PM

I love when someone asks a question that's not would you hit it, or check out the girl I shot today people always have the same 2 answers either

IS something wrong... they assume it's about you right away!

or

they try to make a smart ass comment.

it's hard for anyone to say. it's all based on that individuals perception of the situation. my breaking point might be much different then the person suggested in your question. i might be willing to put up with more shit then some people and less then others.

or they can just let it go till the straw that breaks the camels back and end it then.

Well yeah each person has a different vreaking point, we all know this.

Each person is 100% different in what they are willing to do and put up with.

I'm asking you as a person, what is yours? Not asking what you think it is for someone else

XxXotic 07-28-2003 05:38 PM

mine? i dunno usually just a bunch of shit all coming to a head. I'm one of those people that just takes it as it comes, yell, fuss, pile work on whatever... i'll voice my grievances a few times but i won't be an ass about it. eventually if my buttons keep gettin pushed i'll just tell ya to fuck off and go my own way.

oh and nagging is a good way to really piss me off too :feels-hot

Meloman 07-28-2003 05:48 PM

It really comes down to how much your getting paid. The more they pay the more you'll put up with.

But nothing beats working with another company, getting paid sweeeeet PLUS still having all your own personal traffic that kicks ass :Graucho

ytcracker 07-28-2003 05:49 PM

a high paid slave is still a slave

make money take money

Snake Doctor 07-28-2003 05:56 PM

work?

HEARTBREAKER 07-28-2003 06:23 PM

ii'm working for a company and i would say that my breaking point would be the time when i'm not happy anymore with what i'm doing...:)

cezam 07-28-2003 06:25 PM

my breaking point at my last work was when my working hours increased and my salary decreased

Easton 07-28-2003 06:27 PM

my line of work is really different, but i would say having to fuck ugly chicks all the time... that would make me snap

NADINEXXX 07-28-2003 08:14 PM

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHA! SHINE ON!

i think, as much as you would put up with any relationship and still have some self respect...if you feel crummy or disrespected over a reasonable amount of time....see ya....dump the chump

if you really don't feel it's going in the right direction....and you are any good, you'll find another. it's not an easy decision, takes a real deep breath, but you'll do fine

At least you've got the stylish old-school ankle bracelet, not those new funky ones they hand out these days. :thumbsup

dont work for anyone but myself, in this biz im reconized by a name and not a number. never held a real job for long, but been doing my own thing for a very long time now. I love working for myself, and making the roads to where i choose to go.

You try making a road across my land and I will shoot you.

Depends on the pay and what the work consists of.
You could even overlook getting fucked over if the pay was enough and the work was so insignificant that you felt you were getting the last laugh either way.
