Need to learn php. Anyone know a good tutorial. possibly a free online tutorial

If you want something basic, then get Larry Ulman's tutorial (It's a book).
If you want something more complex, then get the big 1500 pages book. It's really good and it's worth the money.

both php.net and zend manual kick ass...I think php is the fucking best self-documented language...

PHP is pretty big to have a general tutorial.

I think you must first decide what do you want to do. Then start from there. Do a search @ google with topic you choose.

Best would be to start from file/database acces then move on after you had enough of them..
