They have been around for awhile, but for a band that doesn't even sing in English, they're awesome. And even in general, their music is good.

why not ?? the pyrotechnicks kicks ass and when they send the keyboard player out surfing the crowed in a rubber boat is simply one of the best parts.. not to mention when the lead signer burns for 3 minuts buring "rammstein" or finaly when he comes all over the keyboard player in "buck dich" or how ever its spelled..

they are simply worth watching for the stage show even if you dont like the music... :GFYBand

I love those guys. They are amazing performers, and their music kicks ass. The only negative thing about them was that a KMFDM album was delayed almost a year so Sacsha could go to germany and produce for them.

i was suppose to see them a couple years ago at the Astoria in London. We were standing in the line ready to go in when the gig was called off because the venue wouldn't let them do the pyros. You think both the band managment and the venue would have checked on that BEFORE a few thousand people were wating outside to get in. never got my refund either. Pitty cause I was looking forward to the flaming dildos

Many promoters try to strong arm it and call it at last minute.

Most venues HATE PYROS, the ceilings are usually too low for some of the pyros big bands bring and they try to keep it hush hush until last minute.

How do you think the accidents happen when people set shit on fire?

Pyro = headache for many, only the FANS like pyros, no one else.

People forget pyros are just fireworks, who do you know lets you shoot off fireworks in their bar?

which is all good a fair..just that the Astoria is a really enclosed venue..great for metal gigs...and everyone I know when they heard about them playing it said 'they are letting them do pyros in there?'. I blame the band management just as much for not checking out the the venue.

I also blame ticketmaster for being shitty about giving refunds.

NO pyro show will compare to KISS. Oh ya they just released alive 4 and it was certified Gold even before it was officialy released. They have more Gold albums then any other Band in history. That says alot IMHO. Best visual show you will ever see:321GFY

i like their songs. "nebel" of the "mutter" album is great! though they will never get that big in germany as they are/were in the us.

Enjoy...i've done some naughty things behind the sound cage (in front of the bar) in the past...good place to stand though if you are at all short. You can see over the heads of the crowd there.

I saw Ash last night at Somerset House..unique experience. Went to Reading for a day last year (where I saw ash as well) but this year the trains are all messed up. They have engineering works on at the same time as the fest. How stupid.

Umm clueless wonder, certified Gold is 500,000 copies. If you dont know that I will not go into how you sell before official release. But regardless, ck history and you will find they have the most gold albums of any band in the world. Its fact. Good Day
